My Thoughts

Maybe if the U.S. House would take up this motto we would not be looking at a Gov’t shutdown. The House had nine months to come up with a budget. Not even a balanced budget. Just a plain old spending plan. This is their primary job and due to hyper-partisanship and playing games, well, here we are.

Here’s a proposed law…

If after 180 days of the start of the budget process there is no budget, no one goes home until it is passed in the House. At the 200 day mark, their salaries get docked. 

Call me a dreamer.
